My name is Felicia Anne and I’m a Designer. I have a passion for simple design. I also love to write code.
After receiving my bachelors in history and education in art design, I worked as an art conservator in a number of museums. Upon becoming a mother, I was drawn to the field of education, received a masters in Education and taught middle school math, science and STEM programs in public, private and charter institutions.
I made a clean break a couple years ago, and began to do something that truly interested me. Since I’ve always loved solving problems and creating beautiful designs, I began to teach myself programming languages.
I'm passionate about web development. I love learning new languages. What compels me is the desire to design simple, clean interfaces. My path has progressed from learning basic HTML5 to diving more deeply into CSS3, JavaScript, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, PHP, SQL, SASS, Angular, Git, Twitter Bootstrap, Google Analytics, SEO…and my bucket list is overflowing.

There’s beauty in simple design. I desire to design websites and applications that give users an enjoyable experience. I see websites as spaces - virtual spaces that people visit. My goal is to have people walk away from one of my websites or apps and exclaim, “Wow - that was amazingly easy to use! What a pleasant experience. I can't wait to visit again.”
